(demonstrate the ASL sign for welcome)

There are lots of ways to say welcome.  We can smile, shake hands, offer hugs, invite folks for tea after the service…  I have seen door mats in front of people’s houses that say “Welcome” right on them.  I have seen “Welcome Home” spelled out on signs at the airport.  When you are driving on the highway, you might see a “Welcome to Lethbridge” sign.  I think Jane must have seen one like that on her way in from Coaldale this morning.

Lots of ways to welcome and today we will share one of the important ways that we welcome people into our church family – baptism.

Welcome, Nicholas!

Welcome Izabella!
